I thought it would be nice to have a central repository for easy access to the technically relevant videos and animations to be posted here on this thread.
The following Youtube Video really emphasizes the need to check your privacy settings during the installation and running of Windows 10. It goes on about how a person needs to re-check these settings each time Windows 10 updates along with some command line fixes and other tools one can use to help to secure privacy on Windows 10.
According to W10Privacy and O&O ShutUp10 after the installation of all cumulative updates so far up through 10586.36, no settings have been reverted on my test system by Windows Updates.

The /sda designation had me wondering about that too when I first watched the video. The video link came from a recent posting on a thread I was following on the MS boards that was started a few months back. On that thread, someone was seriously asking what happened to being able to download the ISO file from Microsoft. It was more or less dismissed as being confused with a 9xxx build. Here is the link:
How to Browse the Internet on a Single Bootable Floppy Disk
Back in the late 1990's, there was a challenge put out to see if this can be done. QNX came up with the answer in 1999. The video presented here was done a few years ago (2012) so you will see some scripting errors in the internet browser as this project is no longer supported by QNX now that it is a subsidiary of BlackBerry.
The source file for making the Floppy Disk image along with other utilities can be found HERE. A bootable CD image can also be found there too.
Please note that these may not run very well if at all in a VM or on newer hardware.
Hardware requirements are:
• 386 or better. • 8 megs of ram. • Hardware / RS232 modem (not a winmodem) or NE1000/2000, DEC 21x4x, or 3com 509 based network card. • Serial or PS/2 mouse. • VGA or Vesa 2.0 compatible card. • No hard disk needed
Contrary to popular belief, OS/2 is still alive and well!
IBM may have shelved support for OS/2 in around 2006. Since then, Serenity Systems has acquired a license to further improve and re-market the product as eComStation 2. Recently, another license has been issued toArca Noae who is currently doing OS/2 development under the code name of Blue Lion.
Presented are a couple of demo videos chronicling OS/2 since IBM first released it on their own without Microsoft's involvement in 1992. The videos are German produced with English sub-titles.
Have you ever wondered where Microsoft got it's idea to introduce Aero Effects into Windows Vista / Windows 7?
Sun Microsystems originally invented it long before it was brought to the Windows desktop environment as a result of a joint collaboration between Microsoft and Sun Microsystems in 2004.
Here is a short video on Project Looking Glass from Sun Microsystems:
<Rick> Good video. It's almost hard to believe that at one time Windows 98 was the resource hog, but even then, it still ran circles around what Windows 10 can do on today's modern hardware and look a heck of alot better doing it.

<Rick> As stated elsewhere, So much for the launch of Windows 11, "The Great Crash." Myself, I had a hard time getting into the site listed above, when I did get in, the video was partly done and then it crashed. There has been many other reports of crashing.

<Rick> I see Microsoft has been very quick to pull down reports of site crashing regarding the Launch of Windows 11 on the Microsoft Insiders forum.

<Rick> With reports of people being able to install the dev-edition of Windows 11 on machines not meeting spec, I thought I would give it a what-the-heck try. Lucky me, I'm caught in the downloading, doesn't meet spec, clearing, re-downloading loop on my machine!

<Rick> I've recently purchased a license for ArcaOS from www.arcanoae.com/ to play with. First impressions, it's still OS/2, but it now has a Linux twist to it.

<dozrguy> laptop shit out and am stuck buying a new one. os win11 as fucked as win10 was?
Oct 2, 2021 12:56:10 GMT -6
<Rick> Let's see ..., my impression of Windows 11 is that it is a spruced up version of Windows 10 requiring a 64-bit processor plus a piece of security hardware that is less than 4 years old in order for it to run.

<Rick> On the plus side, Microsoft is supposed to be supporting Windows 10 for some time to come for those of us still using systems with I7 or older processors.

<dozrguy> STILL so much bullshit and so little time for the kiddie ideas from the hill. My new laptop (MSI GE 11-UH461) would be an awesome "10" machine but because of Winblows I can only give it a "2"......wasted $3500

<isidroco> Each new w10 update adds >100000 useless files to \Windows\Servicing\LCU\Package_for_RollupFix... folders. Even in a SSD takes time to delete that stuff. In each version they manage to worsen stuff.

<Rick> No, there does not seem to be very much traffic these days. I still check in from time to time.
