For those of you who may not know I have been going through a lot of health issues. I have had a brain tumor for most of my life. The location made it impossible to operate on for many years. Because of this I have seizures and other problems. The past few weeks have been a lot worse. I have gotten little sleep and my appetite has been drastically reduced to the point where i cant even stomach eating.
Today (yesterday by now) i had a serious of tests including MRI's to determine if the tumor was growing. It had previously stopped growing for many years so i got used to the way life was for me. The initial scans according to the technician appear to be ok. I had to refer back to my doctor who made a special appointment on a saturday to view them (that's how serious it was). The good news is the tumor still has not grown. The bad news is there is a build up of fluid causing an increase in pressure thats what has been giving me problems lately. However My doctor is working with me on a way to reduce the fluid build up and it may even be possible to remove the tumor.
Both will require surgery but the former would be faster and less invasive. I could be back home in as little as three days. Due to the location of the brain it affects poor eating, sleeping, and stress can aggravate it. So if i have come off short on anyone I am deeply sorry.
What this means however is that i can continue to work on the forum and chat with everyone. I enjoy doing those things and im glad i will be able to do so in the future.
Thank you to all who wished me well i appreciate all the kind words.
